3 Missing People Found, Dead

There has been an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of a mother her son, daughter and friend. A few days ago the 13-year-old daughter was found gagged and tied up in a man house. The man is now the suspect in the murder of the girl's mother, brother, and family friend. The bodies were found on Thursday in a tree, police were lead to the location by the man. The man is said to have been watching the family from a distance and to have no relation to any of them

Missing Girl Might Have Been Raped

Have you heard the name Zahra Baker??? She is a ten-year-old girl who went missing a few weeks a go. Well now she is found. Sadly, she was not found alive.On top of that, she was found disformed and reportdly had been raped. She suffered from cancer and had lost her leg so she had to get a fake one. This was found before her body was found. Who would do such a thing to an innocent little ten year old??? It is believed that her death was at the hands of her step mother and father. Why do such a thing??? People believe that is was for insurance money. How you can do such a thing??? Thats a question I can't answer...only her killers can asweer that.

We know about Four Loko and we don't care.

College students at the University of Maryland know about Four Lokos, some drink it. They also know about how it is set to be outlawed in some states, but they do not care. They know that its harmful, but they believe that they know how to drink it responsibly and they feel that it should not be outlawed because its just like other drinks. TSA or T&A

This cartoon talks about the new controversy dealing with the TSA and the x-ray machines they use. The new machines they have are so high tech that they can see just about "everything". Many people have a problem with that because they feel that they rights are being violated.

Hiccup Girl turns into a murderer

The hiccup girl has been charged with the murder of a 22-year old man. She lured him to a house where he was later shot and killed by two men.

Factory Murder

Another woman's life is taken by an ex-lover. This is the second murder in the past months by the woman's lover. In both cases the woman filed restrainging orders and called the police, but little to nothing was done and the restraigning orders were dropped. Maybe this time somebody will get the message that its not ok to be abused and that no matter what the lover says they should stay away.

Get Off My Backs!!!....Get Off Our Bucks!!!

 

This cartoon is about what the people want. It is easy to see that the people want to get the government off both there money and backs.  To me this means that they want the government to stop telling them how to spend their money. Also it means they don't want them down there backs.

Learning to be poor

Euclid's own New Day Academy students spent a night outside, overnight to learn how it feels to live on the streets. The students had been talking bout poverty in class and did this as a closing project. Parents, students, and teachers all camped out at night. In the morning they went in the school to have a discussion about how it felt.

Nobel Peace Prize Winner

 

This cartoon shows how the government wants to take the Noble Peace Prize away from the most recent winner because he is in  jail. The Chinese government said that they will not support the winner (Liu Xiaobo) because he spoke out against the government. Many people are now speaking out on his behalf.

Miner in Chile

If you were stuck in a mine and finally was able to get out would you come out.  Seems like an easy question, but what if at the top of the mine was you wife and mistress. Would u still feel the same way? That's what a miner in Chile had to face. He was living a double life with a wife and a mistress, and when they heard about him being stuck in a mine they both came just to discover that they were not the only woman in his life. He decided to come out, but was definitely faced with some consequences.

No increase in Social Security money

The government recently announced that there will not be a increase in the amount of money people on social security get. The reason being is the economy. the government does not currently have enough money for the increase. This has only happen once before in  the years since the inflation increase was created in 1976. The only other year was this year(2010). There will most likely not be another increase until 2012.

Racial Profiling???

In Pepper Pike, Ohio, a football player was going door to door selling football cards when he had the police called on him because some neighbors thought he was a burgular with a gun in his hand, when in reality he was only holding a phone and cards. He was stopped by the cops and had guns drawn on him, but he was later let go.
In Solon, a 17 year old and is 13 year old sister were stopped by the cops because he fit the desciption of a robbery suspect and they were running when spotted by police. The kids were later released.
In both instances the children were black. Both mothers felt that their children were only stopped because they were black, this could be true but at the same time the situtations were both ones were the kids could have looked supspitious, but would it have been the same if they were white????

Give Dora Her Money!

You know times are bad when Dora the Explorer has to sue Nickolodeon for her money, but that's exactly what's happening. 14-year old Caitlin Sanchez is suing Nickelodeon, Viacom, and MTV Network for millions. She says that her and her family had to sign papers without having a lawyer present. She was recently let go because she hit puberty and her voice began to change. She is suing fot the money she should have recieved during the two years her voice was used for Dora the Explorer. She is suing for the millions she is owed. Even if she doesn't win her case she as alreday put a dent in the reputation of Nickelodeon because they are now looked at as "unprofessional".

Christine O'Donnell

Christine O'Donnell is running for Senate, but she made comments in the past that are now coming to light. She said she "davelled in witchcraft". Now people are not sure how well she would be as in elected official after comments like that. Even with the comments she made she was able to win her primaries so she might have a fighting chance.

Who's Running in 2012

It was recently announced that they dream team might try it again. The dream team being Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. They might run for the presidential ticket in 2012. If they do run Hillary might run for president with Obama as vice. If Obama runs for president again then Hillary will be vice and Joe Biden will become secretary of defense which is the position that Hillary currently holds.

Anthony Sowell has a follower

A body of a black female was found in East Cleveland. This house was less than a mile away from Anthony Sowell's house, but after investigating they discovered the murder happened within the past year which was while Anthony Sowell was in jail so he is not personally responsible for it, but is someone tryin to be like him? Teenage Peeping Tom

A sixteen year old boy was caught on the campus of Baldwin Wallace in Berea peaking on a  girl who  was in the shower. The boy takes no classes at BW so police are not sure how he got got in to the dorm because a swipe card is required to get in the dorm. The boy  was arrested and charges will be filed. His victim was a  BW college student whose father happens to be a police officer. After being spotted the boy ran next door where he was spotted and arrested.

Body of murdered woman identified

The body of woman that was found in an abandoning building in East Cleveland. The woman was identified as Diane Cloud. Her family said she was last seen on Saturday. Police thing  her murder may have had something to do with her still missing cell phone. Police are still searching but currently have no suspects. a link to the video is below:

Americans Shopping Til They Drop

Americans are shopping extremely too much because a few years ago shopping til you drop was just an expression, but now its true. In an economy where there is barely enough money to go around people are shopping to relieve their pain, but even though it is comforting it is not always good.

What to buy at Target?

             I just read an article on Yahoo! called what to but at Target?...
This article gives four things you shouldn't get from Target the four things were: furniture, movies and music, exercise equipment, and shower curtains and some toys that may contain PVC. It also told four things you should get from Target those things were: cosmetics, the Kindle, green cleaning products, and grocieries.
            After reading the full article I agree with the writer because the things they put were true. Target's furniture is nice, but you can get the same things from Wal-Mart for cheaper. I feel the same about the work out equipment, you will find it, but you can probably get the same thing from Wal-Mart. Their groceries are at a nice price for the amount you get so I think that buying groceries from there is a good buy. They also work hard to save the environment and turn it green so getting green cleaning products from target is another good buy.
