No increase in Social Security money

The government recently announced that there will not be a increase in the amount of money people on social security get. The reason being is the economy. the government does not currently have enough money for the increase. This has only happen once before in  the years since the inflation increase was created in 1976. The only other year was this year(2010). There will most likely not be another increase until 2012.
