Hiccup Girl turns into a murderer

The hiccup girl has been charged with the murder of a 22-year old man. She lured him to a house where he was later shot and killed by two men.

Factory Murder

Another woman's life is taken by an ex-lover. This is the second murder in the past months by the woman's lover. In both cases the woman filed restrainging orders and called the police, but little to nothing was done and the restraigning orders were dropped. Maybe this time somebody will get the message that its not ok to be abused and that no matter what the lover says they should stay away.

This cartoon is about what the people want. It is easy to see that the people want to get the government off both there money and backs.  To me this means that they want the government to stop telling them how to spend their money. Also it means they don't want them down there backs.

Learning to be poor

Euclid's own New Day Academy students spent a night outside, overnight to learn how it feels to live on the streets. The students had been talking bout poverty in class and did this as a closing project. Parents, students, and teachers all camped out at night. In the morning they went in the school to have a discussion about how it felt.

Nobel Peace Prize Winner

 

This cartoon shows how the government wants to take the Noble Peace Prize away from the most recent winner because he is in  jail. The Chinese government said that they will not support the winner (Liu Xiaobo) because he spoke out against the government. Many people are now speaking out on his behalf.

Miner in Chile

If you were stuck in a mine and finally was able to get out would you come out.  Seems like an easy question, but what if at the top of the mine was you wife and mistress. Would u still feel the same way? That's what a miner in Chile had to face. He was living a double life with a wife and a mistress, and when they heard about him being stuck in a mine they both came just to discover that they were not the only woman in his life. He decided to come out, but was definitely faced with some consequences.

No increase in Social Security money

The government recently announced that there will not be a increase in the amount of money people on social security get. The reason being is the economy. the government does not currently have enough money for the increase. This has only happen once before in  the years since the inflation increase was created in 1976. The only other year was this year(2010). There will most likely not be another increase until 2012.

Racial Profiling???

In Pepper Pike, Ohio, a football player was going door to door selling football cards when he had the police called on him because some neighbors thought he was a burgular with a gun in his hand, when in reality he was only holding a phone and cards. He was stopped by the cops and had guns drawn on him, but he was later let go.
In Solon, a 17 year old and is 13 year old sister were stopped by the cops because he fit the desciption of a robbery suspect and they were running when spotted by police. The kids were later released.
In both instances the children were black. Both mothers felt that their children were only stopped because they were black, this could be true but at the same time the situtations were both ones were the kids could have looked supspitious, but would it have been the same if they were white????

Give Dora Her Money!

You know times are bad when Dora the Explorer has to sue Nickolodeon for her money, but that's exactly what's happening. 14-year old Caitlin Sanchez is suing Nickelodeon, Viacom, and MTV Network for millions. She says that her and her family had to sign papers without having a lawyer present. She was recently let go because she hit puberty and her voice began to change. She is suing fot the money she should have recieved during the two years her voice was used for Dora the Explorer. She is suing for the millions she is owed. Even if she doesn't win her case she as alreday put a dent in the reputation of Nickelodeon because they are now looked at as "unprofessional".

Christine O'Donnell

Christine O'Donnell is running for Senate, but she made comments in the past that are now coming to light. She said she "davelled in witchcraft". Now people are not sure how well she would be as in elected official after comments like that. Even with the comments she made she was able to win her primaries so she might have a fighting chance.

Who's Running in 2012

It was recently announced that they dream team might try it again. The dream team being Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. They might run for the presidential ticket in 2012. If they do run Hillary might run for president with Obama as vice. If Obama runs for president again then Hillary will be vice and Joe Biden will become secretary of defense which is the position that Hillary currently holds.
